If you arrived in Victoria prior to 29 October 2019
The customer has the remainder of the original 6 month requirement after the regulation recommences on 16 April 2021.
These customers will have until 29 April 2021.
If you arrived in Victoria after 29 October 2019 but before 16 April 2020
The customer will have the remainder of their original 6 month requirement after the regulation recommences on 16 April 2021
This will be a rolling date depending on when they arrived in Victoria and will take them up to a date after 29 April 2021
If you arrived in Victoria after 16 April 2020 but before 16 April 2021
The customer will have the full original 6 month requirement which will take them up to 16 October 2021.
Arrives in Victoria from 16 April 2021
The customer will have the normal 6 month requirement to convert their licence.
This will be a rolling date depending on when they arrive in Victoria.
After your Success in your Drive Test
After you pass your test, you will be issued Full Victorian Driver License if you are 22 years or over in age and have held the Overseas Driver License for more than 3 years.
You will be issued a P2 (GREEN P) Victorian Driver License if you are over 21 years of age and have held the Overseas Driver License for less than 3 years.
You will be issued a P1 (RED P) Victorian Driver License if you are under 21 years of age and have never held the Overseas Driver License.
